Jonathas de Andrade

His artistic practice explores social constructions connected to processes of city growth. His work involves collaborations with communities, especially in northeastern Brazil. Andrade’s installations often originate from the discovery of an archive exposing injustices, inequalities and different forms of gender, racism, classism, or historical conflicts.
