Ayrson Heráclito

Brasil

He questions us about the place of the sacred in today’s world. His work centers on Afro-Bahian culture, leading us to experience the recovery of religiosity and rituality. From the artist’s perspective, art does not represent an exclusive terrain that is superior or separated from the social fabric. Thus it may be a space to explore the strength of ritual, present in these cultures past and present.
