Orlow’s practice is research-based, process-oriented and multidisciplinary, including film, photography, drawing, and sound. He is known for his work on single-screen films, conference presentations and modular and multimedia installations that focus on specific locations and microhistories and maintain different image regimes and narrative modes that correspond to each other. His work deals with the spatial manifestations of memory, blind spots of representation and forms of restlessness.
